Shaved pubes

OK debate time!

I get the impression that it's very 50/50 and also maybe dependent on nationality but what is your opinion on guys shaving their pubes?

I personally prefer the whole lot intact natural (I can appreciate it shaved more with girls but can be either way with them, although pubes turn me on).

With guys I think it takes a lot away, and it's even infected the hetero porn too with guys being shaved. Pubes turn me on - if I take a guys pants down and he's bald as anything it's a huge turn off - unless he has other attributes lol but mainly no, I like a guy as he should be!

This is just my opinion, and just interested in the general point of view

I trim them and every now and then but shave then all off depending on the time of the year like swim season lol....would buzzed be considered shaved? lol

When i was eighteen i shaved them off completely

It was a sureal experience on one hand it was a buzz trying something new & it also felt great very clean & smooth to the touch, but i do remember it made the skin feel kind of rubbery the first day ... a truly strange sensation.

After that i shaved on a regular basis for almost two years

The biggest nightmare was when i stopped shaving and it started to grow back ((( itchy & scratchy as fuck ))) i spent the first couple of days constantly thrusting my hands inside my uniform, i can only imagine what i looked like to the casual observer ((( probably thought i had crabs )))

But if you have never tried it i will say give it a whirl ... you never know what you will enjoy untill you try it

A friend of mine and his partner are both completely shaved and love it. I prefer the look without being completely shaved but the thought of that itchiness is the one big reason why I'd probably never do it LOL

ive tried it a few times over the yrs, and yes it does itch a bit when it grows back, but if you havent tried it you should, its a totally diffrent feeling

I've tried it, but the itchy - scratchy got to be too much and even here in the mid-west it gets humid as hell which can make for a nasty rash, and besides that I've never been able to get my balls clean shaven with out nicking them (ouch) so I just settle for a nice "trim" to about a 1/4 inch. As for my partners I don't like picking pubes outta my teeth so I prefer trimed but don't mind shaved either.

I'm a "Patriotute" and it's funny how many military men shave, and if you've ever worn a uniform you can just imagine how uncomfortable it must be when your in a situation where it can't me maintained, not to mention explaining to your buddies in the shower why your sporting a "hardwood floor".

NEVER...EVER...WAX YOUR BALLS you will never quite be the same. In my bodybuilding days we waxed everything and I got so tired of that sound.....rip rip....

However...bare balls...well they are nice for many reasons...the sensitivity is great...people like to lick and suck bare balls more...and they don't itch as much...until the hair starts growing in again.

Trimming is the way to go with everything...except...well I like having a shaved asshole...it works better when you go for the big ones..

I knew I wouldn't avoid this topic for too long, so screw it... LOL

As for me, I ALWAYS shave my pubes off. Have been doing so for years now; since high school, actually... but there is actually somewhat of a scientific reason behind it.

As an African-American, we unfortunately sometimes have the wonderful (sarcasm) burden of having curly and coarse pubic hairs. Where the majority of African-American males have straight hair (like normal guys), a high percentage don't... and it's not very attractive. Think of a weird jungle in your pants.

Guess who falls under the "jungle" category... exactly, yours truly.

It's not as bad as you think (I'm actually pretty hairless and the pubic hair I do grow never grows too far), but I do tend to hate the way it looks, so I get rid of it. I actually like the smooth feeling (and of course, the visual effects of size although I've been told it's a pretty good size already...LOL) and I actually love the feeling when it first starts to grow in. It does eventually get that itchy feeling, but there is a slight tingle that comes along with it that is such a rush when I'm... how do I put this... dealing with myself. LOL

As for the itch, I usually use baby powder to relieve the irritation. It actually works pretty well and it tends to make it a bit smoother, so to speak.

But here's the odd part. When it comes to other guys doing it... I guess it's fine, but I prefer a guy with pubes. I don't know; it just makes it sexier. Pulling down the pants and you see a bit of a patch... ALWAYS a turn on to me. What can I say; I'm an odd ball. LOL

if you had any DO's and DOn'ts to shaving what are they. for like a first time shaver.

Hmmm... I don't know about everyone else... but I'll give a do or a don't...

DO expect it to not look perfect after the first time. Of course, just like normal shaving, we all have our little accidents.

DO NOT press as hard as you normally would while shaving any other part of your body. The skin in your pubic area is much more sensitive than other parts of the body. And a "razor cut" in that area just isn't cool.

DO have some baby powder or tal powder nearby during the time your hair starts to grow back. It helps with the irritation and relieves itching and public embarrassment should you feel the need to jam your hands down your pants. LOL

DO NOT freak out if you find small bumps while your hair is growing back. Short version: I can't tell you how embarrassing it would be to run to your doctor and pull your pants down in utter fear... when in turn, it's just either a razor bump or an ingrown hair. It's natural and it's going to happen. LOL

I only trim them and make nice "hairstyle" h go on: and on the balls area I trim them more lower. Sometimes I shave only the balls area.

Use electric trimers with guard first ( to desired length) then is easier to shave to smooth that way if you want that.
