Sure we’ve seen Ricky Roman in all kinds of underwear, but we want to know what’s going on underneath. Not that way. We’re talking about the man’s mind! What are his likes? What are his dislikes? What does he think about when he has a moment alone? What does he do when no one is watching?

What is a smell you absolutely love?

I absolutely love the smell off the ocean breeze, I can’t imagine living away from the coast!

What is your favorite city in the world?

My favorite city in the world is New York City of course, ever since I was a kid I’ve been hypnotized by her pretty lights.

Favorite style (not brand) of underwear and why?

My favorite style of underwear is a nice snug boxer brief because they compliment the package and are so damn comfy.

How important is underwear to you and why?

Underwear is really important to me because it’s the last layer that is peeled off of you before getting intimate and there is a lot to be said about someone by the underwear they’re sporting.

How do you feel about jockstraps?

I love jockstraps, they’re like the masculine thong!

What food totally grosses you out?

Liver of any sort, barf.

Do you have a secret talent?

I don’t think my talents are secrets.

Guilty pleasure: What is your favorite reality TV or competition show?

I hate “reality” TV in fact..I don’t watch much TV at all. Mostly because I don’t have TV.

If you could live in any era of history (excluding present/future) which would it be and why?

I would have lived around the 5th century BC as Trojan royalty in the Roman Empire. I like togas.

What’s one thing you wish you could already do?

I wish I could play the piano….music notes confuse me to pieces though.

What’s the scariest/riskiest thing you’ve ever done not related to modeling?

The riskiest thing I did was hitch rides in southern California when I was 18, but I lived to tell the tale!

At the end of the day what’s the most important characteristic a person should have?

At the end of the day people should be honest and at the very least if not with others, then themselves.

Debbie: Good morning boys! How are you, are you enjoying your Grabbys weekend?

Ricky: Very much so. I’m enjoying my Grabbys weekend so far. Adrian teaches me to answer my questions that way, to repeat it.

Miss M: And Michael, how are you feeling about the weekend, and all the events?

Michael: It’s my first time attending, but I get to party and meet all of you, so it’s just a great time.

Miss M: You’re not overwhelmed yet?

Michael: No, I want more!

Miss M: You’re gonna get it today, with CockyCon! And you had a good time at Adore Delano‘s show last night? I saw the video you posted.

Ricky: That uploaded? God, I was pretty drunk by then. Oh my god, I still fangirl so hard for her. That aqua wig she’s been rocking… I want it.

Miss M: So do I, let’s get one! Michael, since we haven’t interviewed you before, let’s find out a little bit of your history. Aside from being the best boyfriend in the world, what do you do in life?

Michael: I do solo webcam porn, and that’s all I do. I just moved to LA in January, so I’m still adjusting. I go to the gym every day and try to meet people, and just try to make a life there.

Ricky: He works out with Fabio.

Miss M: Wait, who’s Fabio?

Deb: Michael, where are you from, before you moved to California?

Michael: Rhode Island. Born and raised, I lived there until January.

Ricky: That’s where I met him.

Deb: Aww, tell us how you met!

Ricky: Well I was working, if my memory serves me right, and it never does, with Bravo Delta at a club in Providence – Mirabar.

Michael: It was Sunday, August 10th.

Miss M and Deb: Aaaawwwwww!!!

Ricky: Definitely working with Bravo then, cause that number makes me think of Bravo. Michael was in the crowd, and I thought he is so cute, and I want some! We got each other’s information that night, and we started talking, and talking turned into hanging, and hanging turned into “hanging…” [laughter] And then he moved to California and broke my heart.

Miss M: Michael, why did you do that?!

Michael: I wanted to move before I met him…

Ricky: I knew he was going, when we met. I didn’t plan on falling in love with the asshole.

Michael: Right after I really decided I wanted to move, when I quit my job and started to apartment hunt, was when we got kind of serious kind of fast. So it was the worst timing. It was super awkward.

Miss M: Was that hard, did you question what you were going to do?

Ricky: When he left, we hadn’t really established what we were.

Michael: We were just enjoying it while we were still together.

Ricky: Exactly. And that last day, I wanted to tell him that I loved him, but I wasn’t getting that vibe back. I was like hmm, I won’t say that right now, the day before he moves. So I held my tongue.

Michael: But I knew he’d be in LA for the Cybersockets. That’s when I first met you, Miss Martine! And that’s when it all kind of came together.

Miss M: Yeah! At the time I didn’t know you guys had already been hanging out, I thought you just met there. When did you decide to make it official?

Michael: When I moved, I didn’t know what was going on, so I felt like we weren’t going to talk anymore, and I had no idea what to expect when he came to visit. The first day we saw each other was really awkward…







Ricky: Super awkward.

Michael: But the next four days were really tight, and I knew he was leaving.

Ricky: He broke it down for me. He was like, now you’re gonna tell me?!

Michael: The last night I was drunk, so I was like listen, I can’t let you leave until I ask you this.

Miss M: That’s so sweet. I think you’re an inspiration to your fans.

Ricky: He’s my inspiration, I’m literally in the middle of moving right now, which is in-fucking-sane, I’ve picked up and left everything I know to try this thing.

Miss M: And unexpectedly – even though you were together, you weren’t necessarily planning on moving right away.

Ricky: Yeah, not so soon. My landlord, aka my father, is full of surprises… But it all works out.

Deb: Do you have everything in your car now, then?

Ricky: Everything that fit, and what didn’t fit, like the surfboard, I had to ship.

Miss M: Well now you can really use the board!

Ricky: Yeah, it’s gonna be great!

Miss M: I hope we see pictures of that.

Deb: What are your favorite things about each other? It can be a long list.

Michael: I have the cliché answers, but one that always sticks out for me is that he has opened my mind up a lot to things. When we first became official, it was long distance, and people always assume that isn’t going to work. But we’re still here. And just to the whole porn industry – he’s opened my mind up that way, so I like that about him.

Ricky: I like that even as pretty as he is, he doesn’t give a fuck. Like me. And we just don’t give a fuck together.


Michael: We secretly give fucks.

Ricky: Yeah but, not where it doesn’t matter, you know?

Miss M: Just where it counts. And what did you first notice about each other – like Ricky, you said you thought Michael was cute, but what pulled you in a little bit?

Michael: I hadn’t even been planning to go out that night, it was kind of random for me, so I didn’t even know who he was. But I think it was his eyes, that was the first thing. His head was shaved at the time too, and he had a hat on. [Ricky makes shocked face]

Miss M: Oh no, your face! [laughter]

Ricky [nervous laughter]: It was all around bad news bears. And even then he thought I was cute. I think for me it was his mug! This thing right here. [grasps Michael's face] Look at it! Look at it!!! [kisses Michael] And I couldn’t stop looking. I wanted to know who he was. Then I saw him in the bathroom, I was like hiiiii!!

Michael: Yeah, we first talked in the bathroom. We caught each other right outside the bathroom, then we both went in the bathroom, and then we spoke.

Deb: Michael, how do you feel about Ricky’s career with Cockyboys, and all the crazy fans that are around? Like myself?

Michael: The career in general, I would say even a year ago I wouldn’t see myself being able to handle it, the dating part of it. But it’s nothing right now, it’s like he does accounting or something. And the fans, I don’t mind any of them. They make it better actually.

Miss M: Like a job perk! And you’re getting fans now, too.

Michael: There were people who knew me before I knew them, that was a surprise, on the first night here.

Deb: Your underwear auction went well!

Ricky: It was fun! Our total together was $550, and our individual pairs went for about $300 each. But that doesn’t even scratch Max Carter‘s $1000 panties! Someone bid $200, and then he was like “A thousand.”

Miss M: And then it was over! How did you guys find your experience of shooting a scene together?



Ricky: Shooting a scene together was what I thought it would be, honestly. My biggest concern was making sure that Michael would be comfortable.

Michael: What did you think it would be?

Ricky: A day at work. But with my boyfriend, so that was fun. It was bring your boyfriend to work day!

Michael: There was nothing bad about it. I wouldn’t say it wasn’t fun, but it was a good eight hours of work.

Miss M: I’m sure that’s longer than you usually go at it.

Ricky: It’s just a little unnatural. You’re not really eating, so I get particularly hangry. Adrian’s like “take a half hour” and I’m like No now, let’s do it NOW! Let’s get it done. But on the flip, I do appreciate the organic process of it – I haven’t filmed with anyone other than Cockyboys, but I hear it’s very cut and dried. Boom boom boom.

Michael: Our shoot was all outside, so there were bugs at the end too.

Ricky: Yeah, the bugs were nasty. But it’s going to be so pretty.

Miss M: The product is definitely going to be worth the work.

Ricky: The lighting, and I felt really pretty that day, I think Mikey did too…

Miss M: I can’t wait to check it out!

Ricky: Thank you for getting us up this early, by the way.

Deb: Oh, and we also brought you muffins! We have blueberry, pumpkin, or banana. And two bananas. [we all commence making fun of Deb's British pronunciation of blueberry: "bluebree"]

Ricky: Thank you for these! I want the blueberry.



Deb: Mikey, do you think you’re going to feel jealous when Ricky’s filming with other people?

Michael: No. I mean, unless it’s someone else I thought was really attractive, and then they got together, I might be jealous. You know what I mean? Almost like if it was an ex-boyfriend type thing, seeing them together. But for the most part, it’s just work.

Deb: You should have a request list, like “You can work with these people.”

Michael: I can’t think of anyone who does porn right now that would make me say, would you mind not doing that?

Miss M: Ricky, from watching your q&a videos over the past year or so, I feel like that’s a quality you’ve been seeking in a partner. Someone who doesn’t judge, who’s accepting.

Ricky: Oh yeah, absolutely. I mean, I feel like it’s asking to have my cake and eat it too… But very much so. I’m waiting to wake up from this dream.


Miss M: You’re already awake! We woke you up when we got here.







Ricky: Right? I was having this weird dream, it was like three thousand years in the future, post-modern escort service. And me and Frankie V were waiting to be sent to our next job. I remember we had this lady pimp. You could tell something had happened to Mother Earth, at one point way long ago, and we had just rebuilt, but here was still modern technology. It was fucking weird.

Michael: Like Adventure Time.

Ricky: Just like a real-life Adventure Time. I had survived for whatever reason and I was there in the future. And some lady had called, and she was like “Well for that rate, you guys can’t have lunch.” It was a really sunny day, and then you guys knocked on the door. [laughter]

Miss M: What a strange dream. Would you guys shoot a threesome together?

Ricky: Shoot a threesome?

Miss M: Yeah. Well, or have one, but my question was about shooting.

Michael: It depends on with who, but yeah, probably.

Miss M: Are there candidates that you would both be excited about?

Ricky: Levi Karter and Liam Riley volunteered as tribute yesterday.

Michael: How about somebody not from Cockyboys?

Ricky: Maybe a group sex scene with Allen King and Angel Cruz. They’re super cute together. Did you see those other Spanish guys? They were really pretty, dancing at Hydrate, one of them looked like he could be Angel’s brother, super-duper Spanish. Ricky: What do I look like right now? I don’t even want to know.

Miss M: You look like yourself, so it’s fine. I really love the blue in your hair, by the way.

Ricky: Thank you. They let me keep it in the scene. And my septum piercing! I was waiting for them to be like, can you take that out?

Deb: Do they usually tell you stuff like that, then?

Ricky: Yes, especially because we have to ask permission to alter our image. But this time I kind of just did it, and I showed up. I had a box of black dye, waiting for them to be like ok, you can go fix yourself. Go look right. But they just let me do it, and it was super exciting! Very cool.

Miss M: That’s awesome.

Deb: So when you get to LA, do you know what careers you’re going to follow, and what you’re going to get up to?


Ricky: I want to continue filming, for awhile, and then we’ll see. Jason and Adrian have already given me the go-ahead to film more. But I definitely want to use my phlebotomy license. Even as a per diem thing, not hardcore 40 hours a week, but a few days a week.

Miss M: Part-time phlebotomist.

Ricky: And we’ll see, one thing at a time. First I have to get there.

Deb: What about you, Michael? Any plans?

Michael: Probably just keep doing what I’m doing for now, the webcam site. And just adjust. I’ve never lived with anyone before, so it’ll be an adjustment for me.

Ricky: And thinking down the line, I’ve been toying with the idea of real estate. I have a friend, he’s 20 years old, and he flips property and makes a ton of money. It’s crazy.

Miss M: Ricky, would you say that you’ve changed since I last interviewed you, and what’s the biggest difference between then and now?

Ricky: I’m probably a little bit more stern, in that I’m trying to be less apologetic about saying no to things, and to people. Not having to give a reason for not wanting to do things, you know? [in an assertive voice] “No.”

Deb: You’ve been practicing that!

Miss M: That was very good! I could tell you meant it. Well thank you for saying yes to this interview! [laughter]

Deb: If we’d known that before we came to speak to you…

Ricky: No no… Although when we were stumbling in with Liam and Levi at around 3 a.m., I was like fuck, I have this interview in a few hours!

Miss M: I was feeling the same way! As soon as we planned it, I was like what did we just do?!

Deb: I didn’t expect you to say yes!

Ricky: It always sounds good in the moment. But no, I’m glad to be up now, we’re going to work out. With traveling and packing I haven’t worked out in a week, and I just feel like a fucking walrus or something.

Miss M: I can assure you, you don’t look like a walrus.

Ricky: Body dysmorphia.

Miss M: Uh oh. Alright Michael, I want to ask you how you feel about Britney Spears.

Michael: Oh, I hate her. [laughter]

Ricky: Don’t even lie like that.

Michael: That’s a really hard question – that’s the hardest question you’ve asked all day.

Miss M: I’m glad I asked it then.







Michael: I love her to death, like she’s my sister. I can’t even explain it. I loved her for the first eight years because of the talent and looks and everything. And then it was the whole breaking down and being human, showing us who she was. Wondering how that happened, what she feels and what’s inside her head. I guess… the unknown of what fame does to the human brain. Stuff like that. And now that she’s better – I’m just happy.

Miss M: So you really followed her journey, from the beginning.

Michael: I could teach a college course on her. There is one, in England, and I think there’s one in New York now too. A pop class, and she’s a big part of it.

Miss M: She’s such a huge pop culture icon at this point, it’s not surprising there’s a class about her. Ricky, would you say there’s someone you admire in a way that’s comparable to how Michael feels about Britney?

Ricky: You know the answer to this question.

Miss M: I do, but I want to hear it!

Ricky: I feel very strongly about Lady Gaga. She’s comfortable in her body, and I love it.

Deb: Have you met each others’ families yet?

Michael: Yes. He met mine first. When we were getting close, it was really fast, it was right before Thanksgiving; and then the week before Christmas I asked what he was doing on Christmas Eve night. He doesn’t usually do anything, and that’s like my biggest night, because I’m Italian and we do the whole seven fish tradition. I don’t know the entire story, but we cook seven fishes and it has a meaning to it.

Ricky: Seven fish on Christmas Eve. And then you eat them.

Deb: Like seven different types of fish, or??

Michael: Seven fish dishes, between two courses. Like spaghetti and clam sauce, and then actual fish…

Miss M: Is it a religious tradition?

Michael: It is. Probably Roman Catholic. But when I found out he wasn’t doing anything, I was like I want you to come, so he came to Christmas Eve dinner, and met my family that night.

Miss M: How was it? How is your family with your being gay?

Michael: They don’t care. I was very lucky, it just happened, and there was nothing really to say about it. They’re supportive.

Ricky: It was very warm and welcoming, when I met them.

Michael: And then I met his family when I helped him move out. Was it last week? Time flies.

Ricky: My parents are pretty supportive. My dad asked where I was going, and I said I was moving in with my boyfriend, in Los Angeles. He was kind of taken aback – I had never used the word boyfriend in front of him. But he was like, “as long as you’re happy.”

Miss M: That’s a great response. So we thought we would do a little “newlyweds” round of questions, for you to answer about each other. Are you ready for this?

Ricky: No, fuck! Yes.

Deb: Michael, what is Ricky’s favorite movie?

Michael: You know what, I don’t know this. We’re on on netflix all the time… But I don’t think you’ve told me this.

Miss M: If you had to guess…

Michael: Gosh. This is a bad quality about me, because I don’t pay attention all the time. So I just can’t tell with him.

Miss M: Ricky, do you have a favorite movie? Are you thinking of it right now?

Ricky: Yeah.

Michael: Is it easy for me to guess?

Ricky: No.

Michael: Yeah, so how would I know!

Miss M: That’s fair. So what is it, Ricky?

Ricky: I’m gonna go with Titanic. Leonardo DiCaprio was my first man crush Monday. Fuck yeah. That’s how I knew I was gay, in kindergarten.






Miss M: You watched Titanic in kindergarten?

Ricky: Maybe first grade. I remember not getting it, seeing tits and the ship sinking, but thinking Wow, he’s really pretty.

Miss M: That explains so much about you.

Ricky: Yeah I guess! It all ties in.

Miss M: Ok Ricky, what’s Michael’s favorite food?

Michael: He doesn’t know this either.

Ricky: I’m gonna say seaweed.

Michael: Are you kidding?

Miss M: What?!

Michael: I do like seaweed salad…

Ricky: He likes larb.

Miss M: What in the world is that?

Michael: It’s chicken that’s ground up and mixed with a lot of Asian spices, fish sauce… It’s really tasty. When I moved to LA I started to order in a lot, and chicken larb is something you should try. [enunciating] L-a-r-b. LARB.

Ricky: But what’s your favorite food, baby?

Michael: Chocolate cake.

Ricky: Chocolate cake! That’s not food.

Michael: It is food.

Miss M: You can eat it, it’s a food.

Deb: Ricky, what does Michael like to do when he first wakes up in the morning?

Ricky: [long pause] Poop. Brush his teeth. And suck my dick.

Miss M: In that order?

Michael: I would add, drink coffee. I’m a little obsessed with coffee.

Miss M: Michael, what does Ricky like to do before he goes to bed at night?

Michael: Give me a kiss. I think that’s the last thing. But besides that… I think I would say, watch a tv show or movie.

Ricky: Mmm, guilty pleasure. Stay up for just one more episode. Then one more episode! And then one episode turns into five, and then the whole season. And then the sun’s coming up!

Miss M: Michael, what’s Ricky’s favorite sex position?

Deb: What is one of your favorite shared memories, so far?

Michael: There are a lot. When we first met, that first four or five times hanging out – just the chemistry and uncertainty. I loved that. And the week when he came to California; he went to Vegas for Hustlaball, then came back to California and we made it official. So like, our first week being boyfriends.

Ricky: Yeah, people had thought I’d already moved to California. Jason was like, are we sending you back to New York? And I was like nope, send me to LA. I spent like two more weeks there. Then it was snowing back home, and I had to push my flight back. Then I went to the airport too early! I was like, I don’t understand why I can’t check in! They were like, you’re early three days. Oh god, we woke up so early and I was so drunk the night before. We went from the after party to the airport! But then we went back home to sleep and it was nice.

Miss M: Can we expect to see you both at future Cockyboys events?

Michael: I hope always.

Ricky: You gotta keep working. Gotta earn your keep, boy!

Miss M: Do you have any more scenes planned?

Michael: While we were filming, Adrian mentioned a threesome. He just brought the idea up, he didn’t say who. I don’t know who he had in mind.

Miss M: Hopefully we’ll find out! And Ricky, when are we seeing YOUR scene with Levi Karter? Is it real, did it happen??

Ricky: Oh I don’t know, it’s like the lost tape. It is real. I know they’re waiting to drop Meet the Morecocks first, or that’s going to be a part of it. So yeah, definitely a while for that scene. Long time coming!
