I first started to learn anatomy as a younger, so that I could draw nude people;). But when I learned to draw anatomy somewhat properly, I realised I couldn't really express like real kinda emotions. It just goest to that, that there are penises and BDSM stuff:p. But is there like some theory for body movement conserning drawing? Something maybe about body movement as a tool of symbolism? I'm thinking like something subbtle. And I don't mean the clichee poses from porn studio sets:) How can you hint something more than just plain eroticism with a nude body? Add a book, and the dude appears sexy, but also smart?

Pic kinda unreleted. I just like to draw faces, nature and crap:p.

Ps. Pic taken once again with my cellphones crappy camera, so it seems to be distorting proportions bit. Have to balance hands somewhere when taking a photo and it creates a bad angle. Guess it's still easier than in the stone ages:thinking:

That strikes me as just another challenge ... just do it Otage and publish it.
The picture above seems to be very successful.

My advice .... do not be too realistic.

Is that picture yours? And anyways, it looks awesome! I used to do larger works with coal and they were bit more expressionist. But since I moved to study, there has been issues with space mostly. Don't wanna sleep in coal dust:rofl: Paper size A4 is kinda restricting me currently too.

But for example of my previous question: I was trying to draw a picture kinda representing male life span. So there was this dark room in which white light was pouring from an open window behind. There were standing young kid in toga(white toga. Innocence and crap), naked hot man(peak of sensualism or somenthing towards that direction) and skeleton leaning against the wall(death obviously:p).

And for a while I thought it was good. But then the next day when I watched it, it looked kinda different: Little boy dressed wierdly in a darkroom companied by nude midleaged man. And there's also body in the room. So I wouldn't be amazed if someone would interpret it someway differently.

I mean I like symbolism, but can you use body as a tool for symbolism? And well of course you can, but is there like some science/theories to it or...?:p

Btw, if you have problem holding your hand still while photographing, which is a real problem when photographing papers, have you thought about clipping the picture to some kind of flipchart so it's upright? ;)

It's easier then.

I agree with Rozas. Don't get hung up on realism. In your other post you made a picture of Brent Corrigan, but you thought it did not resemble him. There are plenty of photos out there showing every inch of him, do your interpretation. You're not a digital camera.
