Joe Orton could not have created a dramatis personae so implausible. But Joe wrote fictional farces, this one is not fiction.

Should translate well in German since your language seems to possess precise terminology for locutions which are verboten in TV broadcasts aimed at the general public in North America.

Worth rereading from time to time instead of her other books.
The movie based on it bears rewatching too time and again.
