Did the police not believe Stephen Port’s victims deserved justice?
It is hard to decide who was the more stupid and arrogant, the serial killer Stephen Port or the police officers who investigated his various murders. Having murdered Anthony Walgate, 23, in June 2014, Port simply dumped his body outside the communal entrance to his flat and called the police himself to report an unconscious figure lying in the street. Port was eventually jailed for lying about how the body came to be there.
When a second body, that of Gabriel Kovari, 22, was found in a graveyard near Port’s flat in August 2014, no connection to Port appears to have been made. When a third body, that of Daniel Whitworth, 21, was found in the same place by the same unfortunate dog walker three weeks later, friends of the dead men began to make connections, although the police apparently did not.
That's horrible! This guy killed someone, dumped his body in a graveyard. A few weeks later another body turns up in the same graveyard with a note attached saying something along the lines of "I killed my friend with GHB and have taken my own life in guilt, by the way, the guy I was with last night has nothing to do with this." The guy being the murderer. Police bought it, closed the case. It's like something you'd see in South Park.

Yeah reminds me of my own brush with a sadistic killer, without realising it. Anyone remember that ex porn star killer from Canada Luke Magnotta, I think was the name.
He chopped up an Asian guy with ice pick, had sex with the body, ate part of it and then posted the video of it on line.. Yeah charming guy.
Then went on the run and was finally arrested in Berlin. Well when I saw the article in newspaper it also mentioned on the way to Berlin, he stayed in Paris overnight in some hotel and had a picture of it.
When I saw hotel picture, it clicked. That night just got to Paris by air and planned to get bus from Eurolines bus terminal next day.
This place, small hotel bit run down, was the only room I could find near bus terminal. So I stayed in that hotel the same night and the killer Magnotta had the room next to me. Recall him coming out of his room, as I entered mine after arrival and he said Hello.
Small world isn't it...good thing he did not invite me for a drink or something.. I am kind of allergic to ice picks.
But just shows you, wrong place at the wrong time and it could be deadly.

I thought this was going to be a thread about a new "app" to compete with Grindr - or possibly some event touted as better than Grindr.
Here in Perth we are currently having our Fringe Festival, and one of the events is called "F**k Grindr" (sic). Only single gay men are supposed to attend, and it's held at a gay nightclub. There is a similar event for lesbians ("F**k Findhrr"), and one for straight couples as well ("F**k Tinder")..
