The first movie of Steven Spielberg was for the TV. Frightening!

The car is a Plymouth Valiant DeLuxe. Several were necessary for the movie.

Thanks jeanlouis for these amazing posts with cars in movies. ;)

Some of us go to the movies for the great actors showing their talents, while others may say that the cars are just as important as the people. BTW, what is your favourite movie cars of all time?!

For me, the most impressive movie cars is Duel, the mechanical hell seen by Steven Spielberg. If I was only this crazy, functional and ugly truck? or just a basic four strokes engine? This James Bond car is a Lotus Esprit. Most of the capture pics come from the site ImageCarMovieDataBase, where guys are still more crazy than me.

"Dernier domicile connu" (Jose Giovanni - 1970)

Mercedes 300 SL at the beginning of the movie.
The driver totally drunk is turning around the square all open doors!

Arrested by a policeman a few time later.

Police in 404 and killers in DS as always in the French thrillers of this age. ;)

"Deux hommes dans la ville" (Jose Giovanni - 1973)
with Jean Gabin, Alain Delon and Michel Bouquet.

Alain Delon, at the wheel of a rare coach Ghia 1500 GT, is crossing on his way one Peugeot 304 and one Simca 1000 making the race. It's the accident!

Ghia 1500 GT 1967 made on a base Fiat 1500.
