The stories I've heard is that move video production companies have their "secret formula" to enhance the photo shoots. One common story is that they use one of the major brands of moisturizer (CeraVe???) mixed with water.
There's also a brand of lube called Spunk that has a fairly reasonable resemblance to the actual stuff. But as dargelos said, most of the fake stuff is too uniform. The real stuff has more texture/graininess to it.

I think that I had seen in one of the other threads that some studios used hair conditioner for that purpose. I can't recall any scenes where I thought they had enhanced the shoot, but it could be that the editing was done well.
