And he was physically beautiful and had an amazing voice. There is no one I would rather watch and hear sing this song. Talk about being the complete package. Which is what led to his fatal flaw. Michael Jackson and Sting were hailed as complete artists while George was seen as a pretty pop singer. George fought against that, which unfortunately extended to his own record label and tied him up in knots legally for most of the 1990s.

RIP David Cassidy
He was overwhelmingly cute in 1971. My friends and I were constantly trying to figure out if this somewhat androgenous boy was gay. In the end, he was not - but he sure fired our imaginations in the meantime!
