What happened to uploadable?

The site is working normally in my area, for me the question "What happened to Uploadable?" means-

"Why did every single gay porn poster on the planet stop offering Uploadable links at the same time, about a week ago, with no explanation or reason?"

We downloaders understand that those who post links have different needs than us. Sometimes a host site changes its commission structure or service policies, or becomes so unreliable and unstable that you'd prefer not to be associated with it any longer. That is absolutely your decision as posters, and we downloaders have no right to interfere.

However, as a courtesy, it would be very helpful if a brief explanation is provided when a popular host site is dropped. It doesn't need to specific, but in cases like this sudden en masse abandonment of Uploadable, we downloaders should be told what is going on that triggered it. Granted, the Uploadable site has gotten increasingly quirky and infested with malware the past few weeks, but it remains by far the fastest most-reliable free service available to downloaders. It is two to four times faster than Rapidgator, FileSpace or Uploaded, and ten times faster than the utterly useless NitroFlare and DataFile. Losing the option of Uploadable will pretty much kill the porn habit of a huge portion of GH members who've come to rely on it. If I'm to lose access to "my guys" this way, I'd like to understand WHY.

Can anyone here offer a quick explanation of why EVERY porn poster in the world dropped Uploadable like a hot potato last week? It seems quite strange. I haven't seen a host dropped like that since the international purge two years ago, when multiple popular sites were shuttered by a coalition of governments.

Thank you for answering, bigsal! Please know downloaders like myself are behind you 100%: no host site should mistreat the people who provide them with material.

This is unfortunate news, but at least explains WHY file uploaders around the world all suddenly abandoned this host simultaneously. I suspected the cause was such, but your confirmation is enormously helpful in making clear the site did not get shuttered or go offline permanently due to outside forces (as happened with other once-popular host sites). That purge a few years ago made life hell for awhile, glad to know that doesn't appear to be happening again.

Perhaps there is a ray of hope that Uploadable will correct the situation and make appropriate amends to its patrons, eventually regaining lost trust. If nothing else, I hope all contributors affected by this receive retroactive compensation for anything owed.

Jamoo, I wasn't the original poster: I agree with you that their first post was too vague, that is why I followed up with my post which was more specific (I had been wondering what was going on with Uploadable for more than a week, when I saw GypsyPrincess1986's post yesterday it seemed like the right thread to add my own question).

Your answer to GypsyPrincess1986's original post certainly applies in most cases: I wasn't challenging you, just rephrasing their question to clarify that my issue wasn't Uploadable being "down" but rather all links to it had suddenly vanished from forums everywhere. BigSal then explained the site had been shortchanging its uploaders, which is why many had stopped linking to it. If my more-specific question had been the initial post, I'm sure you would have given the same answer as BigSal. Since GypsyPrincess1986 did appear to be asking if the site was down, your answer to him made perfect sense.

Dear all affiliates,

We are currently being targeted by K2S / MoneyPlatform with bestiliaty.

This is a Visa & Mastercard violation (as you all know) and they have been on our back for the past 6 months. We thought that they would stop, but they have continuously been submitting stolen credit card information on our gateway, whilst reporting this to Visa & Mastercard.

Unfortunately with the current situation, we won't be able to process any payments in the future until we take preventive measures and find a way to solve for this.

We urge anyone who's currently working with them to cease all relations with them.

There is another website that still uses uploadable. Its awesome! Uploadable and uploadrocket are the best. Uploadrocket has a few too many pop ups but the speed is great!
