this series is DOPE AF!! Great actors and actresses, although the story kinda basic but it sure interesting to watch.

Bates Motel Series Finale
The series was, IMHO, one of the best Thriller/Horror/Drama TV series I've ever watched.
The only critique I have for it was the final 5 minutes of the series finale. Don't get me wrong. I get why Cuse did what he did. I just disagree with his decision. He stayed true to the Hitchcock vision throughout 5 seasons. I don't understand why he decided to go so far off track with the final scene. He should have kept true to the original. I believe he must've listened to some focus group guru. I think he had filmed more than one ending and then let the focus group decide which one to use. Big mistake. I was totally disappointed after 5 great seasons.
Still it is the apex of it's genre.

First of all, ANYTHING with James Spader is well worth watching, and Boston Legal was some of his very best work. His closing arguments are among the best ever given in any legal drama.
Add to that the incredible performance give by William Shatner as the senile, gun crazy head of the law firm, and something magical happened.
The chemistry between Shatner and Spader is intoxicating. The term "bromance" was invented to describe their relationship as two straight men deeply in love with one another. Which is funny since they hate each other in real life...
In summery, it was one of the funniest, best acted, and written legal dramas ever on TV...
