As stated in the Title line I live in Brisbane. I work in hospitality. I used to be a member of this sight about five years ago, but I've forgotten my username and I also assume that memberships are probably deleted if you don't log on for five years.
My passion is music; playing music, listening to music, singing in choir, going to the opera and the ballet. Going to see musicals. I love classical music but I'm not too snobby (I can't deny being a little bit snobby) about listening to just about anything although my tastes outside of classical are terribly mainstream, strictly top 100 type stuff.
I also love language and languages, which started when I was young and my Grandmother used to speak to me in Gáidhlig (Scottish Gaelic), I then had a Kindergarten teacher from Costa Rica who taught me a bit of Spanish, both of these languages I have long since forgotten but I remain fascinated by both foreign languages and the idiosyncrasies of English itself.
I have a love hate relationship with Brisbane. I love the Small City vibe, I couldn't survive in a city that was any larger (I'd hate living in Sydney or Melbourne though they're great to visit). But I hate the heat. I am currently sitting in my bedroom at 12:30 in the morning and the only way I can be at all comfortable is with a ceiling fan and two pedestal fans going at the highest setting.
This introduction just hit seven paragraphs and I really didn't set out to write an essay, I am just a natural rambler so I'll stop rambling now and go look for some porn. Yet another passion of mine
