GH Member Appreciation Thread

I wanted to make this thread as a token of my appreciation to all the kickass members of this forum - several of who have helped one another both on and off these forums. I appreciate the help & love; the community these forums have become over the years.

So if you want to give another member(s) a shoutout, this thread is a place to do it.

Outside of the already amazing people that post great vids for us to enjoy, I find myself participating and reading in several great conversations. I always find and enjoy the various comments by so many people on this site. Of all the people I interact with, I have a special appreciation to the people below as they have wormed their way into my life and thoughts as I feel a connection to them even though we've never met. :x

HAIDUCCII you can ask him something and at once you will get an answer and not only an answer but he will fulfill your wishes if he can and mostly he can. Thank you Haiduccii for all the movies you have placed here. And I know - just now you will frown because you are knowing that I don't be a fan of short movies. Many others here are such fans - and for them my thanks. I prefer "long films" and here you have helped me too with movies I couldn't find any more. That is too something what I call FRIENDSHIP especially because we don't know us personally.

And a very great THANK YOU to W!NSTON who was my first friend, helper and mentor here on GH. He advised me in my first days here on GH to tame my emotions which sometimes have been exuberant. I will always love him as a more paternal friend.

And big THANK YOU's to STONECOLD , WAISTINGMYTIME and all the others which are sharing their movies with us if that will be "normal" movies or porns (which we all like!!!!!) So I could enjoy so many movies from which I normally wouldn't have heard from. A very big hug to all of you and a much more bigger hug for your work!

And last but not least THANK YOU RIOJACKBLUE for your friendship here on GH!!!!!!!

I am truly grateful to all those who keep this forum going, both the wicked parts which I enjoy and the innocent parts that show gays are not all one-dimensional.

I also concede that the decision to exclude explosive topics from discussion has been mostly correct. This would have crushed under the weight of massive ignorance and outrage right at the start of this year if you have not been vigilant.

I'm a bit afraid to make this post because I know that when I clic the Submit Reply-button I'll start scolding myself: How the fuck did you manage to forget to mention HIM and HIM and HIM and...

But here we go, hoping you'll accept a very incomplete list:

Three guys have a very special place in my heart - gb2000ie, slimjim and zortek - because they were the first to make me feel at home on GH + giving me a lot of practical help and advise when I finally had decided to become an active poster! It's a pity that we haven't seen gb on this forum for many months & I guess I'm not the only one missing him...

Then I'll have to mention three particular German friends: BigBenni for his deep, deep knowledge of classical music in general and Wagner in particular & for being a wonderful friend writing wonderful looooong PM's. He is also one of the great members we haven't seen on the forum for many, many months...damn I miss him...; peter123 for kind and friendly words in a bad situation when I needed some comforting; Shelter for being the young man to teach me that having a lot of quarrels (yes, we did...) doesn't mean we become enemies...

All the wonderful "culprits" in the Gay Themed Movies-section: defiance0, haiducii, kendo, stonecold and the grandmaster of streaming movies waistingmytime. Hanging out in this section is just wonderfully educative and truly the the place to be if you want to learn about what a wellmade post is, and how to do it...

And then there's a name I've already mentioned, but I'll have to mention again:

My dearly beloved friend haiducii :heart::heart::heart:

Just because of...or maybe not because...but rather to use a phrase from the greatest of medieval German mystics, Meister Ekkehard, talking about the being without any "why", any "because": Ssunder Warumbe.

I had to click the "thanks" button on every single reply, cause its such a beautiful thing to see people show one another so much love.

Especially in a world where so many thrive off of negativity and being petty.

What a great community of people on these forums <3

Every year we move further away from that utopian ideal in the real world but we will always have it here in GayHeaven. Everyone can bring whatever they want to the table and they can take away whatever they want from the table. A beautiful concept. Even if all you do is click on an advert you are still making some small contribution to the whole. Others make a larger contribution, a few bring a feast to the table. It's all good.
The dodo was right, everyone has won and all must have prizes.
