I have been using 10% cream on my coffee for the longest time but ever since I watched this fellow reviewing Eight O’clock coffee revealing his quirk of adding a tiny smidgen of whipping cream in his cup, I have started whitening my coffee too with 35% whipping cream. I find that it brings out even more the flavour of my coffee instead of what I assumed it would do, that its richness would mask the complexity of the coffee’s flavour.

This practice btw fits into my low carb high fat regimen too. I have always stocked whipping cream in my fridge anyway because I use it as dressing for my fruit salad and occasionally make probiotic mascarpone out of it, specially when they are on clearance.

Heavy cream in coffee is a real treat. I often have heavy cream on hand for holiday desserts (or just cold weather type desserts) so I'll add it to my coffee - sometimes with a couple of cinnamon candies or some hot chocolate mix. Perhaps even a splash or two of Baileys or an Irish whiskey.

I mostly drink cold brew, mainly cause I can make it fast in the morning. I might have to reconsider with the cold coming in...

I've tried peppermint candies but never cinnamon; gonna have to give that a try.

I have a commercial BUNN coffee pot in my kitchen - it takes seconds for a full pot - this is not a luxury it is a necessity - coffee is the only thing that seperates me from mass murderer....

I love coffee, but wouldn't consider myself a connesurier by any means...

Pending on the day, I have a few ways that I make my coffee in the mornings. If it's a day off, I usually use either my Bodum Pour Over Coffee Maker or a Fresh Press. It just depends on which one I see first. :)

If it's a work day, 9 out of 10 times, I'm running slightly behind and use a Bodum Travel Press (which a metal travel mug with a fresh press built in). That way it brews while i'm driving to work. LOL

Coffee is best with a glass of brandy, specially before work.... It keeps you sane.
