I finished watching this series. I don't want to give anything away for those who might watch it in the future but the tone of the story does a 180° turn at the very end. I was surprised because it seemed like the story would not have done so in reality. But it's a work of fiction ... or is it?
If anyone else has seen it tell me if you agree about the 180°
Or am I the only person here who has seen it?

Since it was an experimental show to see if a gay themed thriller could generate acceptable ratings and only ordered for on season as a stand-alone mini-series, I suspect that twist at the end was to leave some wiggle room just in case it was a success and another series was ordered. But even though it was a success, and the BBC was interested in a second series, the writer declined to continue the story.
And no, your not the only one to have seen it, it's just that the rest of us watched it when it first came out, 3 years ago...
P.S. I don't care if she she did switch sides at the end, the dudes mother is still a cold, evil bitch...:angry:
