Best gay dating site in your opinion

Hi guys!
I would like ask you about best gay dating sites - I not mean apps (grindr or others). I'm asking about sites like planetromeo.com and similars.

I'm member of planetromeo for years ... I prefer old, classic version of this site becuase new look like grindr app on desktop - it's useless for me.
I found manhunt.net, gaydar, dudesnude.com. First and second looks like grindr too, third has old but simply interface. What do you think about them?

What's the most popular desktop gay dating site? Manhunt, gaydar want only money, are free and very limited and I don't know how to pay from Europe.

I don't understand stupid trends to switch desktop version of dating site to app look. Microsoft tried switch Windows 8 to Metro UI and We know how it ended...

I'm with you on Grindr's interface - it's frankly insulting in current times that their UX is such total shit. I have better luck with Scruff than anything -usually just meeting new friends, but occasionally other options too.

My partner and I found each other on OkCupid, it's more of a relationship oriented site, you can answer a set of questions (general views about things) and the system show how much you match with each others – but don't read too deep into the score itself, the answers are more interesting.
