the city is an important road junction and industrial center in the sectors of cosmetics, crafts and dairy production Here is produced the famous "Grana lodigiano" cheese
Grana Lodigiano is excellent to eat in small pieces, and is fantastic if it is cut into thin slices (called "raspadura") obtained by scraping the surface of this cheese with a special tool
