Legendary Musician Slavko Avsenik Dies

Ljubljana (SLO), 2 July - Internationally-recognised accordion musician and composer Slavko Avsenik has died at the age of 85. He is leaving behind a rich legacy of oompah music and a polka that is believed to be the most frequently played piece of music in the world.

Avsenik was born November 26, 1929 in Begunje na Gorenjskem, close to Lake Bled, a popular tourist spot in NE Slovenia.

In 1953, he established The Avsenik Brothers Ensemble with his brother Vilko, with whom he has produced nearly 1,000 songs in Slovenia and Germany.

The band performed before millions and in thousands of concerts. All together, they have sold over 30 million records. Their most popular is a polka entitled "Na Golici" in Slovenian, or "Trompetenecho" in German, "Trumpet Echoes" in English.

The "Trumpet Echoes" is believed to be the most played instrumental song in the world. Other great milestones of the band include performing in front of over 80,000 people in Berlin Stadium and touring the US and Canada.

"Everything that has happened was coincidental and I am still analysing it today. All I can say is: 'Thank you, my destiny'," Avsenik once said about his career.

His music is not my cup of tea, but have to admit: ''This guy was a genius!''

Hi Machor, my dear friend, what shall I read out of your post here. Are you sooo alone? A dude like you can't be alone! Don't be unhappy - unhappiness is non-profitable and it will make you old.

But perhaps I have something misunderstood?

I love you! :heart::heart::heart:

Deeply saddened by news of the passing of JulesBianchi - super talented, super nice young man. :(

I'm having a bad day - anyone know how to get rid of Javaws.exe*ws32 - a nasty little trojan?

And if there is no software to get rid of it will a full factory re-set wipe it away or will it still be lurking within the operating system????

Man...don't your antivirus get rid of it?

Try running task manager and see if the bastard appear on the list of running processes. IF yes, then right click on it to open the file location and try delete it manually. This is longshot, might not work :worried: Conversely, IF it appears on task manager you could end its process until you find a way to get rid of it.
Hope tech geeks on here would give a better helping hand!

It duplicates itself, when you look on task manager it appears there hundreds and hundrds of times.... I said it was a nasty one. Google gave some advice but mainly forums telling you how to remove it manually by deleting in the program files and manually deleting from the registry - with warnings about not deleting anything else by mistake... don't fancy the risk. I found a couple of programs that claim to be able to remove it but no joy so far... currently on my very old and VERY slow (but virus free) laptop.

Holy shit! Now i can really say i know this feeling...of duplication. I still can't believe it i got the same thing going an hour ago. A program i'm NOT using duplicating itself everytime i end its process  ~X( And you can't uninstall the fuck out of it cause it's running on it's own and trying to kill memory  I've been able to dispose of the program, but i don't know the root of the problem :worried: Right now, i'm ripe for a vacation...

Btw i hope you've been able to find a solution to yours, slimjim?

Ohh.....You have my sympathy and empathy!!:big hug::big hug:

I seem to have got rid of it now ( I hope!) after several System Restores, and trying quite a few on-line available scanner/cleaners like YAC (Yet Another Cleaner); HitManPro; AVG; Rogeukiller; TDSKiller; AdwCleaner; JRT (Junkware Removal Tool) and although I already had the free Malwarebytes I managed to find a free trial of the Premium version.

I don't which one did the trick... maybe they all helped in some small way:?

Google the "malwaretips" site... lots of help; advise and links there

Do you guys know how you got it? If you got it from a porn site it might the people here so they don't step into the same trap.

And good luck to you both.

I wish I knew... 3 or 4 days before I started having problems I did get a routine message about " updates are ready for Java" and I did go through the update. Everything looked as official as usual with the normal Java messages throughout the process and the standard " check which version you have " box at the end.

Whether this update was bogus or whether it got corrupted and some virus; trojan; spyware or malware used it to infect my laptop I don't know. I was surfing a few tumblr archives ( all of which I have used regularly over several months ) to get more pics to post on my threads here and who knows I might have got it on one of them.... the java update may have been innocent :?:?

In the end I ran lots of different scanners/cleaners. For the first 2 days I was having no effect on it then and after running them again for another day or so things were much better but I still had some minor problems .... then when I logged in the following day it had all seemed to have gone.
