PATRIOTS DAY the gripping story about the bomb blast during the Boston Marathon in April 2013 with a magnificent Mark Wahlberg. It is the typical American Hero Epos - but nonetheless very good and I recommend it to you.

A film from 2000 ---- for both of us the VERY BEST film since many years:
FINDING FORRESTER
with two really phenomenal old and young actors: the old one SEAN CONNERY and the young one ROB BROWN.
We are watching so many films (we really are film freaks!) some of them are impressing for us, some of them we have forgotten the next day and some of them are only trash --- but this one has left behind a lasting impression. This is a film you have to talk about!
This film is stunning, outstanding, ingenious, brilliant ... I could carry on with these adjectives.

In four words: A MUST TO SEE!!!!!

Bill Nighy; Imelda Staunton & and Paddy Considine are in it! - that should be enough on it's own.

This Movie by Gore VERBINSKI is now out in France and its french title is : A Cure For Life (in English..) but the english original title is "A Cure for Wellness" ! ! !
Well..not very good, but not very bad.... a little bit of "Shutter Island", a little bit of "The Shining", a little bit of "American Horror Story : Asylum"

well, the last 3 I saw, in order of my watching them, are:

  1. "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story"
    [*]"Bridge of Spies"
    [*]"Warm Bodies"

"Rogue One" I saw in a theater in IMAX 3D; the others were on TV :)

Su-fucking-perb.. where to start- well it's probably Wes Anderson's best film to date. Such a funny, witty and farcical screenplay and script, coupled with wonderful location shots in & around Görlitz in eastern Germany. As to the cast well where do you want to start - Wes uses his usual stable in cameo roles - Bill Murray; Tilda Swinton, Jeff Goldblum; Harvey Keitel; Edward Norton; Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman but what's really an inspired piece of casting is Ralph Fiennes as Gustave H... genius move!:rofl:

If you missed this off-beat wacko gem of a cult-movie then seek out a copy and give it a spin!
