Depends on the story. Not all books need sex.
I guess I should had been more specific. Say you read a review (good or not so good) where the lack of sex was mentioned. Would you try to get hold of an excerpt to see if the writing appealed to you, or would you just move on to another book?

Yes and I have. I have read all the Alex Sanchez books, they're great stories and I think many gay boys and men can relate to them. My favorite is Rainbow Road.

Couldn't have said it better. A good story is what's important and what gets me going. If there was just mindless sex in it, then I'd rather watch a porn movie instead.

I'm not a hypocrite. I love sex! So gay books without or less sex, I'm not interested. Esp if it's written so dramatic and unreal like Harlequin novellas.
For sexless gay book to catch my attention, it must offer great story and great cover too.

Depends. If it would be one of those where there is lots of erotic tension, but nothing really happens... Hate those things
I think there are lots of good fiction without sex, so my question is: What would make it gay? There are gays in the novel? I've read non-gay books in which there are gay characters. But erotic gay tension without sex = tease:no:
