Man beaten to death in Slovenia, aftermath streamed live on Facebook

This happened on 13th of February, 2017 at around 4am in Krsko, Slovenia. 2 guys beat up another guy, and streamed the aftermath live in Facebook. The video has been seen by more than 250.000 Slovenian Facebook users. Not to mention, that the video got almost 2.000 likes on Facebook!? Creepy. The victim passed away in a hospital in Ljubljana yesterday.

And here is the saddest part of the story. Read the answer from Facebook, when someone asked them to remove that video. I'm sure you all remember how fast the iconic Vietnam war photo featuring a naked...was deleted from Facebook.

Yes, it's difficult to understand.

According to FB, beating a man to death is NOT a crime (in Slovenia).

These have been in news before, that some people beat up another person and download it into facebook... News like these makes one wonder how stupid and sick people there are. Sick = You inflict serious violence against somebody, stupid = you download it into facebook for "fun" and ofc the previous reason too. What's the idea behind this? Do they try to set themselves apart from the act by making a video? Like it's just a video like you may find from internet if you want to? These kinda news make me angry:angry:

The argumentation of FB is unbelievable. I remember some time ago someone put a picture on FB from a naked man, it was a statue from Michelangelo, and this was improper for the eyes of the FB-members!!!

But blood and thunder is OK for Facebook!!!???

And on the other hand I would be interested in the verdict of the judge for these criminals?

I agree to jazzeven. It was a computer algorithm that decided what's okay in the community and what not probably.

Of course I have no understanding for this.

You can give up ciggies when you really want to. You can give up drink when you really need to. It's so much easier than those to give up facebook. There are enough other places where you can chat and swop photos. Walk away, go , losing users is the only thing they take notice of.

Update: Yesterday (after more than 100 hours!), Facebook finally closed the killer's profile. On Monday, Facebook claimed that this page was ''not in violation of Facebook's rules.'' :thinking:
