The Island
I thought this was a pretty good movie. It came out in 2005, but I think still holds value today. It's about a company that grows humans as duplicates as "insurance policies" for people who are needing organ replacements. And two of them escape into the real world. I know as cloning gains ground, I just hope that it doesn't go to this extreme.
People are always saying that the cost of health care is way to much, yet we are doing things that are helping to keep us around a lot longer than natural. Of course health care is going to increase by doing this. I take med's for things as well and really don't want to die at an early age, but we are unnaturally increasing our life spans with medicine and will have to pay the price for it.

NW: Death Note US version lol
I don't know much about Death Note but for me this version is much like Final Destinations kinda movie. Which sometimes could get boring, cliche and predictive.
