Gay Pride Reception At White House

The White House will be hosting an event next Monday, June 29, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Stonewal

Shin Inouye, a White House spokesman, said,

“Next Monday’s event is a chance for the White House to recognize the accomplishments of LGBT Americans. Invited guests include families, volunteers and activists, and community leaders. This event was long planned as a way to applaud these individuals during Pride month.”

hmmm, its about time I can just imagine all the people that will be there to protest

The reception was really horrible! Basically Obama told the GLBT communities that they had to wait even longer before they could become more than second class citizens. Just 5 days before leaders in the Obama Adminsitration had compared gay marriages to being as wrong as incest. Many top contributors boycotted the event that has divided gay communities in USA. Yet again it seems that they are not even going to get a seat in the back of the bus - but has been thrown under the bus and that the promises Obama made to his GLBT voters were empty and void.

In the end,
we all have to fight for ourselves.
