Hi guys - what do you think about jockstraps? Do you wear such things? Do you like them?

Please don't kill me - but in my opinion they are a little bit ridiculous. But that is only my opinion. My boyfriend has bought some of them and would like it that I will wear them.

What is your opinion - and be honest!

I'm not that big of a fan of them (I do like them) but my partner loves it when I wear them because he played basketball in high school and would wear them and it's a fetish of his. As a matter of interest, why do you think they are ridiculous? I don't see that, nor do I think that with thongs. Whether they are sexy or not, they are very practical. I think baggy briefs and boxer shorts are a little ridiculous, so you see it's all just a matter of taste.

Thank you jeansGuyOZ for your vote and your question. I'll try to answer, as I've done it to my BF. Perhaps, and that I will admit, "ridiculous" is not a good description. And as I have said above, I didn't want to insult or to offend any of you who like this underwear.

But I like baggy briefs and boxer shorts. With these pants I feel myself more decent clothed.

And what you have said, Mrcrownroyal, is truly right. My BF likes these things and he will get hard at once when I will wear them. So he is like your partner! :blushing: But when I first put on this jockstrap I felt a little bit "ridiculous".

Plain jocks, the kind they wear for cricket or rugby, are ok, the expensive designer jocks they sell in gay sexshops do make me laugh. That sort are a parody of masculinity, if you ask me, but dont ask me because only one opinion matters. If your man likes them, keeping him happy is all that matters. And doing something special just to please him means you get the chance to ask him for something special that you fancy trying too.

There are two opinions that matter here: your BF's opinion, and yours. By all means do things that will please your BF, but not if it's something you personally dislike. Relationships are always about compromise. If it's something that you find a complete turn-off, you shouldn't feel obliged to do it. If it's something he really loves, and you maybe don't see what the fuss is about but you are OK with it, then do it for him.

Yes and so we will do it. These jockstraps will never be "my" underwear - but I know there will be in the future and there have been in the meantime situations
