Proper photographs with thoughtfully posed models, correctly set up lighting etc. still my preferred option. Because the moment someone spits, neck grabbing, someone dose something to appeal to some kink that I have no interest in, or makes a fake moan it kills the mood for me. And never liked stills taken from the video, has to be a proper photograph.

I prefer pics over videos. It certainly doesn't mean that I have never masturbated watching a video but I love those beautiful pics of those scintillating male beauties. Actually pics give me the liberty of fantasizing in my very own way. Most of the videos, I don't feel, leave me with the option of fantasy. We all have our own personalized ways of fantasizing and a beautifully taken pic of a guy gives us that freedom to create our own fantasy. In case of the videos very less option of creating a dream sex-sequence is left because that video is the creation of fantasy of the director and not mine. That's why I always prefer a pic over a video.

Videos are great when the actors really act, really get into each other. What is so disappointing is when they can't act, don't express any emotion and try to make up for it by 'sounding' sexy.

In those cases, pictures can be much better - they allow free rein to our imagination which goes well beyond what happens either on the page or screen. I think that because of the easy availability of video/online porn, we've probably lost seeing the value of pictures of sexy guys. In other words, taking time to let our imaginations run wild. Just a thought.
