Good moring guys,

This was the view first this this morning :)





Went to a local Farm Shop to get some suff and also had lunch there





Came back to Mousehole and went around the local shops





while doing this the tide had gone out



And by the evening all back to normal :). Its surprising the height of water difference that goes and and out

Went to St Ives today

Back at Mousehole, and stopped to look at this



And while going to put another parking ticket in the car a all male choir was singing in the car park

Oh what a nice memory of a wonderful holiday with my parents 18 years ago in St Ives. Thank you YoYo for your always wonderful pics from your awesome homecountry. And btw Cornwall is one of the nicest places of the whole world with very friendly people.
.... And YoYo you really could act as a professional photographer. Every photo which you have shared in your thread here in the past until today is a masterpiece! (y)

St Ives... the destination of the riddle made more famous in the movie Die Hard with a Vengeance always comes to mind when I hear the name.

I loved the seagull, the funny sign and especially the all male choir. I love all male choruses. I love the timbre of men's voices.

The pano was beautiful too my friend :love:

So not left the village today.
Just had a cream Tea at one of the local places :)
Yes I know not properly, cream first then jam!



Off to here tomorrow :)

Rain has stopped again so I went out for a walk

Hey Guys,

Went to the Isles of Scilly today. We took the helicopter over to there and back (all pics are clickable to see full size version in P&H)

Flew past the The Minack Theatre

Once in the main town walked up to the highest point



There is a hotel at the top

Went to Porthleven today

Its Thursday, The last day down here. Travelling back tomorrow. But we are stopping in on Padstow on the way back. And then driving onto Bude where we will stay the night before travelling all the way home

Today I went to Penzance

On the bus from Mousehole to Penzance

Quickly poped into a Shop in Mousehole to get a postcard. And saw this sign by the door :)

Its Friday and what a YUK day it is. Heavy rain :(

This was the view from our cottage. Amazing view of the habrour :)

Stopped the night in Bude on the way home

Had supper in this place this evening





After supper I went for a walk down on the beach


Tide is right out and nice and sandy



Lots of beach huts



Nice sunny evening



Walked over to the other side and saw there was a canal there



Walked up to the top

Forgot to show you pics of the place I stayed at. Did not show you at the time for opbvious reasons!

As we arrived I took this pic. I have circled the house. Does not look much from the outside. But look at the location. Right on the waters front, and the views as you know that i took out of the windows was amazing every morning :)

Went here today. Not the sort of place I usually go to!



Upstairs I started to take pics. Fogot to take any when downstairs

Beautiful. The upkeep must be enormous. I loved the sculpture of the former owner reclining in repose. It was my favorite. He was so handsome and I'm sure he was very charming and had a grand sized organ to match the harpsicord in the drawing room ;)

edit: I had to know more about this sculpture and found this information
