Brandon Sanderson Words of Radiance. I like fantasy that does not have typical old skool magic

It's awsome if I have inspired your read, and I do hope you like!!!

You can also find a lot of Peter Frankopan public talks on YouTube, most of them based on his big silk roads book, but not exclusively. :)

The Life of Kathleen Ferrier

The Life of Kathleen Ferrier
by Winifred Ferrier (her sister)
Biog of the singer who rose from a humble background to become, for a few short years, the most celebrated voice in the world of serious music, before cancer cut her career short. And what a voice, if you have never heard her before then listen here. Not many humans have ever made a sound as glorious as this.

I picked up an immaculate copy of Thomas Piketty's Capital at the Salvation Army bookstore a few days ago. The first book on economics I intend to read since the required text of my uni days of half a century ago.
