Did you know that this plane, which was the only one of it's kind still airworthy, had a landing gear failure and was forced to "belly land" at the same air show these photos were taken? The pilot was uninjured, but it is unknown if or when the plane will ever fly again...:(

The Sea Vixen "Foxy Lady" made a belly landing on Saturday 27 May 2017. The photos I published were taken in 2015 at the Air Show Memorial of the Battle of England.

These two articles confirm your doubts. For the Sea Vixen to be able to fly again it will require a cost of 3 million pounds and up to four years of work.
