We are similar.

7-12 inches of snow expected to fall
High of 24 degrees F, (or -5 degrees C)
with the windchill its 12 degrees F (-11 C)
Driving visibility is currently at 0 feet because of the blowing snow. The news is urging everyone to stay off the roads.

Still, this temperature will feel like a heatwave in comparison to what we are supposed to get on Wednesday. It's a high of -24 degrees F, (-31 degrees C) and with the windchill it'll drop to -50 degrees F, (-45 degrees C)!!

Holy Molly

Another day of frightfully cold weather. Cold enough, in fact, to confirm any halftwit's belief that global warming is just one big hoax fostered by the Chinese.

Since seeing your earlier post about this I saw the BBC report about Canada and parts of USA getting hit by a Polar VortexX_X... very scary stuff and makes the "Beast from the East" that hit here in the UK and western Europe last winter seem almost pleasant by comparison..... here's hoping you can all stay warm and safe everyone :big hug::big hug:

Here in Boston, we had the tail end of the polar vortex yesterday and today. I had to shovel snow at 6am in 3 degree f weather ( just an inch of light snow).
My car started so I was happy.
But a slow warm up will begin tomorrow. Next week will be warmer.
