While it didn't quite recreate the sheer carnage of the now infamous "Church Massacre" scene from the first movie...
It did give us Sir Elton John smashing a motherfuckers head in a piano, doing flying kicks in platform boots,and dropping more F-bombs than Ozzy in an entire season of "The Osbourns"...

As I bought a new HD Tv today I decided to put it to the test by watching Tarsem Singh's visually stunning "The Fall"... one of my very favourite films and the TV came through - from the monochrome opening titles:

The Walk (2015)
The Walk is the true story of a young dreamer, Philippe Petit , and a band of unlikely recruits who together achieve the impossible: an illegal wire walk in the immense void between the World Trade Center towers.
The movie is a visual treat, specifically the last part of the film. There are magnificent camera shots showing off the beautiful Twin Towers in all their glory; the viewer feels like they are thousands of feet in the air on the high wire. Robert Zemeckis does an amazing job making this movie as intense and thrilling as possible. His direction really made this movie what it is; and it is visual spectacle told within a great story.
