Well although not animal related this links to the above:
Swansea Council (in Wales) sent an email to its in-house translations service to have a road sign - 'No entry for heavy goods vehicles. Residential site only' - translated into Welsh as all signs are bi-lingual, English & Welsh. The only problem was that the Welsh translator wasn't in at the time and an automated email response was sent to council officials. They received the e.mail and presuming it was the translation they had asked for went ahead and had the sign made and installed
The welsh section actually reads:
'I am not in the office at the moment. Send any work to be translated.' :duh::rofl::rofl:
