"The Staircase" - did he do it? [Spoiler Alert]

This thread is for anyone who has watched 'The Staircase' doentary series on Netflix. Anyone who has not please exit the thread immediately to avoid spoilers and go watch it all. Then come back.

So, did he do it?

Guilty, or innocent?

I found his little story that his wife knew about his gay affairs, was 'cool' about him having full anal sex with hookers*, and having a gay porn stash. The implication was that because he was bisexual, and having extra-marital gay sex, that that was okay and "just" different. Well actually, there is no difference. If she knew he had affairs with female prostitutes, and found his hetero porn stash... well now any wife would FREAK OUT. They had a big family and kids, a big house, she was a high powered business professional, so hardly some kind of free-love set-up.

But he was so sweet and nice and seemed so concerned about the black community. Is he really a sociopath. Are they that convincing and can they fool anyone?

We will never know for sure. Unless he admits it.

And remember the woman in Germany who also just happened to fall down a staircase too. Hmmm.


*Did he actually meet one, or was he only planning it, I forget.
