If I was the girlfriend, I would have no problem with that.
Thanks for mentioning this law. I'm always interested in things like that. So I checked some government sites.
I saw that this law covers pictures of people "posing in a sexually provocative way" - not only nude pictures but also pictures with clothes on! And it actually does concern showing "explict" pictures offline - like in a physical photoalbum.
"Sexual material not only covers images that show the genitals but
also anything that a reasonable person would consider to be sexual, so this could be a picture of someone who is engaged in sexual behaviour or posing in a sexually provocative way"
That's a nice gullable wording, that could mean anything. So you are actually right. I thought you were joking the day before yesterday. This little 9 seconds clip could really spawn a police investigation in Great Britain.
I also read about the "Be Aware B4 You Share" campaign. What about the responsibility of those people posing? So the campaign doesn't aim at all young people to take responsibility for their life and think if it's a good thing to make "explict pics" in the first place.
Not much of a scandal if all he was doing was showing his body. "Sex tape" lol
And he's a swimmer. It's not like we've never seen his cute belly button before.
