I used to exclusively watch straight porn for the reason that I'm 47 and, back in the days, there was no Internet and my video clubs only carried straight porn. I have a theory about the fact that there is no attractive plot in today's gay porn, which couldn't turn me on. Most of them are about how to be lewd without limits, how is easy to fuck for everyone. But the porn we need should be more than just slutty.
For example, there are some Japanese heterosexual porn films that portray the plot as shy and empathic. In addition to lewdness, I think I also need a mood of being attracted, which is an important means of maintaining excitement.
