I am re-reading "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. This classic (1943) has been on my bookshelf for quite a while, it's one of my favorites. It always lifts me up, the perfect book to calm me down in these difficult times.

A book is a handwritten or printed work of fiction or nonfiction, usually on sheets of paper fastened or bound together within covers.

Do you have got this fascinating description from the Encyclopedia Britannica? :p

Janko Petrovec - Karantena. Rim. (2020)

Janko Petrovec is the RTV Slovenija (Slovenia's public broadcasting service) correspondent from Rome, Italy.

His latest book "Quarantine. Rome." is an eyewitness account of events as they unfolded in Italy after February 20, when the first official COVID-19 case was confirmed in the country.

So Rome is Rim in Slovene? Anyway, it seems like an interesting read!!! Any chance to get a translation into English?

Right!

Anyway, it seems like an interesting read!!!

It is because of his very unique writing style...he didn't write this book (diary) as a journalist, but as a human, and that's what counts most.

Any chance to get a translation into English?

Not at the moment, maybe later this year, but no promises...

The Scottish Boy by Alex de Campi - this is a homoerotic historical novel set in 14th century England. Aex de Campi (female) seems to know all about gay sex!
