[OPEN TOPIC] Barebacking: Yay or Nay?

Of course, my first real topic here on the Boards has to be one that is thought provoking... come on, it's what I do best. LOL

So, of course you're aware of the practice of "barebacking" in porn flicks. There are many links here on the Forum that feature clips of that. A lot of people believed that it was mostly used for European porn clips, but that isn't the case. It seems to be the new "norm", so to speak; the new way for companies to make sure their actors and scenes are noticed. Even my favorite, Brent Corrigan; was known for barebacking in his beginning porn days; he has since stopped this.

But of course, there is a high risk factor involved. A lot of studios actually make sure that condoms are always used with their actors, no matter the cirstance. However, with the majority of studios providing security (in an odd sense) for their players; the list seems to grow daily with others that look for that new way to garner and forever gain your attention.

So, what do you all think of this? Do you like barebacking clips? What are your beliefs on this topic? And the most personal question: have you ever had a barebacking experience? Of course, that last question doesn't really have to be answered, but it does bring up some interesting thoughts, I'm sure.

Since I haven't given my thoughts on this and I started this topic, now would seem to be the time to do so.

I will admit that I do enjoy some bareback videos, but not all of them. Some of them are pretty hot; but there are others that I tend to find a bit disgusting. For example, there are certain videos like the ones from "Treasure Media" that I tend to avoid. The shown being dripped from a guy's asshole (sorry to be so graphic, but there was no other way around it) doesn't really tickle my fancy, so to speak. For some reason, it's just a major turn-off and I tend to avoid those. Also, I don't really like many of the European videos, consider it seems to be the norm for so many of them nowadays. As for doing it in my personal life... well, that gets even sketchier. I've only been barebacked twice in my life and both times were very unexpected. The first time, I was a young teenager and the guy was as well and surprised me (of course, I didn't even know what the term "barebacking" was at that point); which led to a pretty embarrassing story I may share later in time with you all... LOL The second was with another guy that I had met in a "phone chat" line. I probably should've known better at that age (about 16), but the whole turn on that goes with the fear of meeting someone new and what have you... it didn't really affect me. I didn't even know he was inside of me without a condom until it was all over. I've always believed that someone was watching over me (and still does) and everything turned out to be fine afterwards.

Now as I am pretty much by all means and terms an "adult", I've often wondered to myself if I would ever knowingly bareback with another man. And the answer is "possibly"... but there would be a couple of big stipulations. For one, there would have to be an immense trust between the two of us and sadly, in today's world, that is something that is hard to come by. Also, the guy and I would have to be to have been together for years before we even got to the possibility of the conversation of it. But if all the signs were right, the trust was there and even more so, the guy was right... then yes, I would possibly do so. But I definitely don't do it in my everyday sex life... not that I have much of one anyway. LOL

I agree, Johnny F, came close to "barebacking" (is that the right phrase for straight sex? ) a former girlfriend when we got a bit over-passionate but it didn't go that far in the end. I wasn't worried about her having anything really, more in case I might have had something, although it was highly unlikely, having been tested sometime before and I've not really done anything more than a couple of BJs unprotected in recent times.

I agree 100 % I never could see what the extra turn on is to see BB porn. I actually enjoy it more if they use condoms.
In my teen years and 20's before HIV never used condoms. I do not now but that is because of being in a 30 plus year relationship.
