Je suis désolé de l'admettre, mais malheureusement pour moi, les choses se sont passées autrement cette année. La Citroën DS 19 précède la Fiat 1100. Cette photo le prouve sans équivoque.
Donc :
Première: DS 19
Deuxième: Fiat 1100



I am sorry to admit it, but unfortunately for me, this year things have gone the other way. The Citroën DS 19 precedes the Fiat 1100 . This photo proves it unequivocally.
So:
First: DS 19
Second: Fiat 1100

1922 : presentation of the amazing Lambda


First monocoque body without chassis 12 years before Citroën Traction

Independant front wheels and Over Head Camshaft in 1922 !
V 4 engine with very tight V (13°) that allow the use of only one cylinder head. Lancia will keep this design of compact motor a very long time.

A limousine version was also available but at this age torpedo was the most popular body.

Lancia Lambda and Mercedes 300SL, two cars in advance for their time.

Augusta - 1933

Astura - 1934



In 1936 Lancia return to monocoque body and modern mechanical with Aprilia also named Ardennes in France.

Lancia Ardennes, french version of the sophisticated Aprilia, was assembled by Lancia-France at Bonneuil sur Marne near Paris. Like Fiat with Simca, Lancia had created this subsidiary to escape customs rights (until 1939).

The difference between the two Alfa Romeo 1900 cc is that the brown Alfa Romeo is a version developed by Abarth in 1953. You can see the coat of arms of the Abarth on the grille that is not present on the gray Alfa Romeo
