Gay couple guilty of violating 'the order of nature' Part 2

A MALAWI gay couple has been sentenced to the maximum 14 years in prison with hard labour for holding the country's first same-sex wedding, which landed them with a sodomy conviction.

Tiwonge Chimbalanga and Steven Monjeza were arrested on December 28 after their symbolic wedding and accused of violating "the order of nature". They have been in jail ever since.

I read an update on this story the other day. They were sentenced to the highest punishment for this "crime" - 14 years prison and forced albour. Shortly after, they were reprieved by the president of Malawi. Now one of the two - the older one - decided to split the relationship, saying he is not gay any more and that he wants to continue his life with a woman. The source says he was forced by his relatives to do so. The younger one said that he is gay and that he is going marry the man of his life one day...
