Oh, the Brits and their strange habits...:?

But it seems to me that it's about what Swedes call "doppa" (I'd translate that as "dipping") However . and this is the important thing - doppa doesn't connect to tea - it's definitely a coffee-connected habit. At least that's the way it is in Sweden.

We have the 8 o'clock coffee in the states as well, I would say it is one of the best I have tried and the price is between the premium coffees and the national brands. I use that for company or "at home" coffee.

To prolong the period in which my cup of coffee keeps at the temperature I like to drink it, I use a double walled latte cup. Since they are made of very thin glass, they crack very easily. So aside from taking extra care, I just keep a few of them as spare.

To enhance this situation, I also recently experimented with heating the 10% cream I put in it like they do in Brazil with their milk for coffee. But maybe it’s because I am not used to it, I did not find it that much of an improvement over my usual coffee practice.

Speaking of glass coffee implements, I went through a few of these below before I finally found the unbreakable one made of stainless steel I have been using for the last fifteen years. At that time, you could bid on them at Ebay and win them for about $10. Not any more.

I have a bean to cup. However, I have drifted away from coffee to herbal options. I still love the smell of coffee. I wonder which method of making it creates the best aroma in the room?

I only drink the shortest, darkest, double espresso, no sugar, no milk, produced by a high quality electric espresso machine.

You like you coffee like you like your men then.

Depending on how hot or cold it is outside (or my mood), I start my day with either cold brewed coffee I've previously brewed or make hot coffee with my aluminum percolator.
