Hi Guys

As many people know that visiting certain stream sites and other sites using portable devices such as a mobile phone,IPhone, and a Tablet that the site detects using those devices and automatically changes it from Desktop Version to a Mobile version, A member here wrote me a PM message few weeks ago asking me "Is there a Mobile version of this forum" and i wrote to him saying that there is no Mobile site of GH available, Since then he got me thinking about this great idea, so i would like to propose or suggest if this forum can or is able have a Mobile web Version? where members here who use any portable devices to login to the forum will automatically switch to Mobile friendly designed but also have the option to switch back and forward between Desktop and Mobile Versions as well.

there's an Android app called Tapatalk, it says it supports 40.000 + forums
it's not free i don't have it installed, maybe some who have can share there experiences and tell us how it works.

Aww Thanks Jamoo:heart: for your Kind comment & letting me know that there is an app for Android which supports thousands of forums my friend, I didn't know that, I'll have to look into it later today & yes me too i hope someone who has this app csn share there experiences with it. :hug: btw, did you also know that you can find pay apps for free on Android over the net by typing the apps name with apk on Google and download the file to your phones memory card and install them by clicking on the file on your Android device without hacking.

Anyways when I meant Mobile Site Version, I actually mean like a web designed one only.

An easy way to do this would be for the admins to simply install a mobile theme. The forum runs VBulletin which is a very popular forum software, so there are lots of mobile themes out there. Users who want a dumbed down theme could choose that theme when they are on their phone.

It would take a little more work to have the site detect the device and auto-change the theme, but I bet there are a million and one VBulletin plugins to do that out there already.

I have just one comment to make - if we do go the route of a mobile theme, please please please please please make it optional! I HATE those dumbed down themes, the best thing about the iPhone and iPad is that they work great with real websites, don't ruin that for people

I use the site on my mobile device often. I just put up with desktop version on my mobile device. I have a large screen so its kinda OK for me.
