It's kinda impossible to show love in a single act, unless it's something pretty ostentatious (like idk, serenading them at their window or something soppy like that).
It should be shown in all the small things, like even something as small as a well placed word here and there, a small gift here and there or a treat, a little sacrifice you make to make them happy.
I've never been in love myself, but I image it's anything you can do that is either
1) quirky and humourous with a splash of romanticism
or
2) doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, but you do it anyways "just cause"
with 1 I've seen, that the other person aknowledges it right away (an Easter chub chub marshmallo that says "I love you") With 2, they really don't find out until later (a lunch secretly packed with your favorite treat)
like squall says, it's gotta be constant (or at least more than just 1 or 2). Otherwise all you did was a favor
As for showing love online, just e-flirt
P.S: These are for the "special someone." Showing love to family/friends requires a different approach, because it's a dolifferent kind of love.
Nothing will say you love me more, than you sending me money:thumbs up:
And lots of it. My goal in life it to prove the saying wrong, "money can't buy you happiness".
I thought of the idea to get a hundred sticky notes write a hundred reasons why I love you on one and put it on the front door. and a reason on each of the others and then post them around the house that way every where he goes he finds a reason why I love him.
I give them online hugs!! <33 and hearts!@ and if I know them in real life i give them hugs also! and.. i always seem to touch them when i laugh at their jokes lol
A very interesting question. The answer seems to be easy and difficult at the same time. I was married for about twenty years. I have kids (a girl and two boys), so I should know a little bit about it. The easy part of the answer for me is to express my love to my kids. They did not ask to be created. I made that decision. So it is my responsibility. I give them unconditional support; I mean that I give without asking something in return. I respect their choices, also when they differ from my opinion. I would never turn away from them, whatever happens, how horrible things should be. With your partner things are more complicated. It is nearly impossible to give and expect nothing in return. In The Netherlands we have an expression: love has to come from both sides. So when you give you will get disappointed when nothing comes in return. Such a relation will not last. But in principle love is giving, without asking something in return. When your relationship is good there will be no reason for disappointment.
