I think it is we as baby's CRY to get food or anything else we want but as we get older how do we do it then? (girls crying..and guys yelling?) isn't it kinda the same? so wouldn't it be a genetic thing?

I don't think so..I can't recall my parents being that way..however, I can tell you that one of my siblings thrive on getting attention whereas I'm definitely not looking for it..I tend to be somewhat bashful..

Seeking attention is a part of the human nature; but it all depends on the individual.

I like attention, but I don't seek it as I'm an introvert; I prefer hovering in the background, and doing my own thing, and I get embarrassed when am credited in public for doing things when I should be proud about it; however, I hate being ignored when trying to maintain someone's attention.

It's like I like the attention when its there, but at small measures and in certain cirstances, and if I don't get the attention I wont make a fuss about it, unless I am deliberately trying to get a person's attention.
