Not so sure that a boner would be an issue. One of my coworkers had visited a nude beach in California, his impression was that most of the people that were there would have been better off with bathing suits of some kind on - not only for them but for everybody else as well lol. He did say that he had gone there during the day and was told that the evening views tended to be a lot better.

Chance would be a fine thing in the UK. It's only hot enough for nudity on a handful of days in a year. I have seen it at Gran Canaria and St Tropez. There was the occasional Adonis but what was striking was the number of really really fat men parading around completely without embaressment. Which helped to ensure that unwanted erections were never likely to become a problem.
Sorry but that's body fascism. Just because the naked people are not hot muscle, well just ignore them, but they have a right to be there. Your co-worker has the issue. I am large and I wear speedos as they are more comfortable for swimming. He needs to grow up, all body types are in this world.
