Queen Front Man

I know I'm about two months late with this, but Queen and Paul Rodgers have parted ways:thumbs up: Leaving the position of frontman once held by Freddie Mercury open again.

Rumor has it that after performing together on American Idol, Queen has offered Adam the position of lead singer for the band. Brian May of Queen has denied these rumors but has admited to contacting Adam Lambert about the possibility of doing a project together...

So what do you think? Can Lambert fill Mercury's shoes? If not, who would you pick as Queen's new frontman?

lol you know I am a die hard Lambert fan as you can tell but I would rather him to his own career and grow from that. Maybe do some guest stuff or something but not a permanent lead person.

He left a bigger legacy than people think. He was the original glam "emo" rock star. Plus he was a soulful mothaf***a!

No, there will never be another Freddie, but seeing as how the rest of the band is determined to carry on without him, would Lambert be a good choice? Or is there someone else that you think would be better for the job?

I have the Freddie Mercury Tribute concert on DVD where stars like Elton John, George Michael, Roger Daltery, and even Paul Young all did fantastic jobs filling in for Mercury. Personally I always thought Geoff Tate of Queensryche would be a good choice because he has such range but is also so different than Mercury. Paul Rodgers was just horrible and the fact that hes dressed and acted like Mercury just made it worse...

During the tribute concert George Michael took the reigns and did a pretty impressive job. I'd like to see him perhaps give it a go
