Two-Step Logon

I’m not sure where to direct this but the forum for about the last two weeks is forcing me to perform a two-step logon. After a few days of doing the two-step logon I went into password and security and turned off the two-step process. The next time I attempted to logon I was forced back into the two-step. I tried this multiple times. Could someone please take a look at my account? Perhaps I have something not set properly.

Same thing happened to me about 2 weeks ago. It finally stopped a few days ago and I haven't logged out since then, but I assume that if I logout again and try to log back in, I'll probably have to go through that ordeal again. :/

Thanks for your response. I feel better knowing that I'm not alone, but I would think that this is an easy fix. Something got set on our accounts that are forcing the two-step. I turned if off earlier today. When I came back in I got once again:

You must enable two-step verification to continue.

Two-step verification increases the security of your account by requiring you to provide an additional code to complete the login process. If your password is ever compromised, this verification will help prevent unauthorized access to your account.


So once again it is back on.

Should I not log out? What happens when I power the PC down?

For the past 2 days the verification email/code is not being sent and I have had to use backup code. Has anyone else encountered this as well?

Just curious, what happens if I run out backup codes? is there a way to get new ones?

You can get a new list. I've done it at least 3 times. Just turn 2-step off. When you come back in you will be forced to use 2-step and a new list will be provided.

I have had the same issue. I emailed the contact us section and finally just reverted to using the back up code as well.
