What makes you cry, or laugh?

I was just watching something that makes me cry every time i see it, and laugh (look below)

but, i love anything that makes me emotional, so i was thinking, what makes you cry or laugh?

this scene from "Steel Magnolias" always makes me cry and laugh!!

Off the top of my head, I would have to say movies by Kevin Smith; in particular, "Dogma" and "Clerks 2". Most of his movies are filled with "dick and fart jokes" (by his own admission), but somewhere in the context is a strong message that smacks you surprisingly when you're not realizing it.

"Dogma" surprised me with it's message based on religion as well as it's surprisingly deep and beautiful ending (with Alanis Morissette as God). I was truly touched by how meaningful it was; as well as with "Clerks 2". The entire movie seemed to be filled with pervy humor, until the end where the raunchiest character of the bunch broke down his walls and expressed just how much his best friend meant to him. The tears just fell like water after I heard him speak.

I love Kevin Smith too, all his movies!! but my fav is Mallrats, i just love Jeremy London and Jason Lee:x

I love "Clerks 2" as well. And I wouldn't know about "porch monkey", although I will admit Wanda Sykes stole that entire scene!

As for Rosario Dawson, there hasn't been a movie she's been in that I haven't loved! "RENT" is my all-time favorite with her; she is so extremely talented. (And I think it's funny how obvious her boob movement is in that scene. LOL)

Seeing a video showing animal cruelty: a chimp got whipped for not following direction, cute furry stuffs got skin alive, sick pigs got thrown on the ground again and again because of the horrid living condition, you know... stuffs that show how bad human can be. Why.... why?


Ohh and also when I think about how I would never found true love
But that's not happening.

I have a good sense of humour and it's what keeps me going. There is humour in every situation, after all doctors probably have the blackest sense of humour, they need to.

I'm not one to get truly down very often, but there are certain movies / TV shows that are guaranteed to make me laugh how ever many times I see them - Airplane , Police Squad (the series that spawned the Naked Gun movies) , Monty Python, BBC series "Dads Army" (Arthur Lowe was a master of timing) , Fawlty Towers....I could go on!

This is a movie i watched a day or so ago, and i have to admit, it makes me cry and laugh, but it also depresses me...it makes me think of all the lost love i missed or wanted and never had
