Same thing in Sweden - we did it last weekend
And when it comes to dark evenings in november, december, januari, february - well, Sweden is a much darker place than any part of Britain

There is a diverse group of people here and we do not all share the same opinions about certain things....Sometimes this can lead to heated discussions or name calling Even though I don't think I have the same hopes for " the country " on Tuesday night as the vast majority of people here, I don't want to say anything that may lead to this thread being closed or removed because everyone is entitled to their opinion and I respect that

To stay legal, I say nothing about current affairs, this is only about history.
Many people long for the good old days. On this day fifty years ago some things were good. The movies were great, the music even better. Ciggies were very cheap and you could still get strong legal amyl nitrite. Unfortunately the cold war was making everyone paranoid, even though the public at the time never knew just how terrifyingly close we came to turning the cold war into the hot war. It didnt happen, otherwise none of us would now be around to worry about it.
So in a way those were the good old days because the people back then somehow kept their cool . I am grateful to everyone who helped keep the world in one piece so that I could have a life, as hard as that might be.
