I believe that it hurts so much when you put your all in to being in a monogamus relationship and thinking your man is doing the same..and to find out that he's cheated on you, is heartbreaking and makes you feel as if you were living a lie with this person...

I think it's because our yearning for the perfect partner has been destroyed by reality. IMO, it's rewarding to love, but we are less likely to suffer if we are realistic about it & don't expect perfection. But we all desire perfection, so it's difficult.

I feel that we need to realize that most of us cheat because we haven't gone through or finish our slutty stage yet. I also feel that we have to go through it in order to know what we really want or else we keep being forever lost in a "could be" or what if the sex would be good.

When you break up with that person that's when it hurts you even more , that is if you are with him for a long time. The reason behind this is that whenever you have sex with that person your body releases a endorphin to make you feel good. Gradually, your body will change so that you don't have to have sex, but rather just being with that person releases endorphin. That's why you feel good and love when you're around them. This is just one of the many chemical that changes in your body.

So the take home message is you're going to feel like crap after breaking up with a person that you're are in love with because your body now has to change its chemical balance again.
