But what could you spend your billions of dollars on if there is nobody around to sell you anything?
This is a fantasy, right, so we can travel in time as well as in distance. Going forward into the future does not sound attractive as the world holds little promise of getting better and will probably get much worse so I shall travel backwards in time.
To find out what the greatest gay club ever was like, put me on the dance floor of Paradise Garage NYC in 1979. Sister Sledge will be singing We Are Family on the Richard Long sound system, there will be no epidemic creeping up around the corner that will claim half the lives in the club, the music will never stop and the party will last forever.

If I had all the money and time for a year getaway, I would buy a motor home so that my lover, I, and the dog could travel all over the states and I could finally get to see a lot of places that I've wanted to

A weekend in any hot spring resort in Japan or elsewhere can restore my spirit. Even more enjoyable if the facility is staffed with young masseurs.
