What are your feelings regarding the new format?

An incredible amount of lost pages.... softer look is okay, but lost content is not. I was on page 2464 of 3194 on one thread yesterday, working my way to present day. Today the max number of pages on the thread is 1235. So much removed. I even 'found' the date that I ended on yesterday thinking that it was just older posts that were deleted. Nope. Even side by side on the same date there are posts that are gone. Thumbs down.

If you could provide which thread you refer to either here or in a PM that may help to research the issue. If there have been lost posts it was likely unavoidable. The techs would not have intentionally pruned posts unless it was absolutely necessary. Also, the process of migrating the database from one platform to another much newer one was not without challenges.

Shortcuts are gone. Latest posts, etc. Harder to find things now.

I was finding that issue with the "last page " being from months back but when refreshing a couple of times it sortied itself out. I think everything is there but there was a navigation glitch from time to time. I haven't experienced it for a while so maybe it is OK now. Maybe try navigating those threads again and see what happens now.

Overall it looks like a nice change. Is there a way to change the colors & font sizing, the OP thread starter/page # seem a bit small or hard to see.

New format doesn't acknowledge new posts or any posts. Keep getting notice I haven't posted any content lately, and another that I have never posted to the forum. Hopefully it is a small glitch that will be ironed out soon.

I'm kind of surprised to find a new design honestly. However, I'm not sure yet on what to feel about it. Until all the nitty-gritty little details are sorted out that's the time when I will try to uncover its pros and cons. But I do appreciate the new look.

The glitch with the notice at log-in has been raised with the tech team and hopefully that "dismiss the message" button will actually work and prevent it from re-appearing ..........

....... and at least this post has shown we can still quote from multiple posts at the same time

You should be able to Dismiss those notices by clicking the “x” in the top right corner of each notice. Hope that helps.
