The 2 CV is born 2 times. In 1939, 250 2 CV were made and this new model was planed for the motorshow in October. The car was registered by the administration and we can consider it as a 1940 model. At the other end of the range, a traction 15/6 convertible was also planed. Instead of motorshow it was the war and nearly all the 2CV were destroyed except a few that were hidden or transformed. In fact, the 2CV really appeared nine years later with a lot of modifications.
